Creating space for transformation

Over the years, Casie and I have experienced meaningful personal transformation and growth at weekend, week-long, and month-long retreats. The immersion into an area of study allows for time to actually “be” with the material.

In our daily life, we often find ourselves digesting media so rapidly while getting interrupted by text messages and other distractions. It’s as if we are speed-reading our way through the day.

At residential retreats we are able to absorb the material in a more embodied and impactful way. This dedicated time also allows me to notice what’s going on in my life, how I feel about it, and if I need to take steps to shift anything. It gives me a chance to be still and not rush off to the next item on my to-do list.

Celebrating the feminine

Feminine energy encourages reflection, being in the present moment, and investigating our relationship to ourselves and others.

At Retreat to Your Root, you we will provide a variety of unique opportunities to create the sacred space to dive deeper into the physical and energetic realm of the pelvic bowl. Pelvic-centered yoga postures and breath work will connect you to your center.

You will have an opportunity to discover how the energetics of your pelvic center relate to your creativity and pelvic pain (if applicable). We will explore self-care rituals to enhance your relationship to your feminine energy.

Community

Kitchen at CA location for Return to Your Root retreatTwenty-five percent of women will experience vaginal pain during their lifetime. Pelvic pain is quite common, but not always freely talked about.

At our retreat last year, we were touched by the genuine care and compassion among the participants. We got to witness the incredible power of providing a safe space and allowing a group of women who all have unique feminine experiences to connect with and relate to each other.

Privacy is paramount and participants will only share what they feel comfortable with. As the community is formed, it’s often relieving to be able to talk about vulvas all weekend!
