Physical comedy, done well, is the best! Melissa McCarthy kicks it in her opening SNL monologue wearing heels.

Metatarsalgia

Metatarsalgia is the clinical term for pain in the balls of the feet. Wearing high heels can cause this, as well as high impact sports like running and aerobics. Make sure you see a doctor to rule out a stress fracture!

Heels and pelvic pain

Wearing heels affects the tilt of the pelvic bowl and biomechanical pull of the muscles that attach to the pelvis. If you are struggling with pelvic pain make sure that wearing heels does not make your symptoms worse.

Be kind to your feet. After a night of wearing heels, reward your feet with a foot massage. I love the foot cream from Aveda. Also, a wooden foot roller or tennis ball will do the trick. Be sure to take care of your tootsies!
